Hi! My name is Chirp! My foster mom called be that because I communicate by chirping! I don’t actually meow, but chirp contentedly when I am happy. And I am happy a lot! Since I have come into ARF’s care I have learned to trust humans and I am still working on that. I love my foster dad a lot and am now comfortable with two active grand kids who visit my foster home.
As I lived outside for the first year of my life, I did not know how to play. Well…that has changed! I love all things round. My favourite is to carry balls upstairs and let them roll down the steps. Then the chase is on. The laser light, things that dangle and things with a bell. Today I had my first catnip and man, that was a treat! I have several cat foster brothers and sisters in my home and I love them all. I think I would love to have a friendly kitty friend in my furever home. I am not sure about dogs as I have no experience with them but I think with slow introduction I could love them too.
I will need time to adjust to a new family and will need a family that can be patient with me as I adapt. I have been fully vetted….tested negative for FIV, fully vaccinate, microchipped, spayed, and treated for fleas and parasites. Although I lived outside I readily adapted to a litter box and faithfully uses it. To adopt adorable me, please click on the ‘Adopt Me’ icon below to fill in an application.
