This 3 year old short haired female with one brown and one green eye has the resilience of a tank, the disposition of a saint and the luck of a guardian angel. Before her rescue, she had been declawed and spayed. She was allowed outside where she suffered an accident that broke her hips. Without proper attention, her bones did not heal correctly and she was left with a slightly twisted hind leg, a limp in the front leg as well as a hernia. Unable to hunt for food or defend herself, her health started to deteriorate. While in her ARF foster home, she got the needed medical care, has built her strength back up and is now looking for her forever home.
Luna is super friendly and easy going, tolerating children well, but for short periods, and a resident cat with no issues. Given the issue with her hips, she does prefer a quiet area to herself where she will spend most of her time resting. While she manages stairs without issues, she does not jump up on things at all. She will need encouragement to socialize and loves cuddle time when we go and get her. She is currently on a low dosage of daily pain medication and it has helped some with her mobility. Her forever family will need understanding and patience as there can be rare accidents with the litter box.
Luna has been vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, dewormed, and has had her hernia repaired. To adopt this sweet lady, click on the ‘Adopt Me’ icon below.
