Meet Pumpernickel! This beautiful gal arrived in ARF’s care recently, after weaning her most recent litter of kittens. She has lived in two foster homes and seems to prefer being in the foster home where she is the only cat. That said, in a large house where she could find her own space, we think she would enjoy the company of another feline. She is very happy cat who would also get along with a dog, again if she had her own space too.
Pumpernickel has a beautiful coat that is growing softer each day! She has striking markings, primarily a grey and white tabby, although you can see that she has had some orange in her bloodline. She sheds very little but still enjoys a brushing and is well mannered during claw trimming. She is an independent soul who likes to be in the same room as her people but not necessarily beside them at all times. She likes a good game of chase but is silly enough to manage it all on her own if you don’t have time.
A quiet family, with or without children, is what she seems to prefer. She is very independent and does not mind spending time alone while you work and sleeps in her own bed at night. Now that that she has finished caring for her kittens, it is Pumpernickel’s turn to find her purrfect forever home.
Pumpernickel has been dewormed and treated with Revolution. She will be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption. To apply to meet this beautiful girl, click on the ‘adopt-me’ icon below to get the process started!
