Introducing ARF’s beautiful Roxy. Don’t let those soulful eyes and frosted face fool you. Roxy has blossomed in foster care and her youthful personality has emerged. She now has a skip to her step on walks, can run like the wind in open areas, and is continually surprising everyone with her goofy antics. Roxy was unsure of people when she first came into ARF’s care and has discovered that humans who allow her time, kindness and affection are definitely worth trusting. She would prefer to be the queen of her own castle and is looking for a furever home where she doesn’t have to worry about sharing belly rubs and snuggles with other furry four-legged members.

Roxy has discovered all the benefits of rescued life including living indoors, daily walks, off leash runs in secure and safe areas, and car rides with the windows open just enough to catch the breeze. She walks very well on leash and is learning that liver treats are far more rewarding than barking at bicycles passing by. Roxy wears her squirrel patrol badge proudly and guarantees that furry creatures of this kind will not trespass in her yard. She never passes on the opportunity to spend time with her humans and has her own unique song and dance when her favourite people arrive home. Roxy will need time to adjust to her new family but with patience and positive reinforcement she will settle in very well and be a wonderful addition.

Roxy is a perfect lady when it comes to her own castle. She is housetrained and can be fully trusted alone at home for short periods. She settles very quickly on her comfy bed or favourite spot on the couch after a long walk and lots of cuddles. Roxy has been spayed, vaccinated, heart worm tested, micro-chipped, dewormed, and is currently on flea/tick and heart worm preventative. This beautiful gal is ready to find a family who will continue to develop trust at her own pace and respect her desire to be the only four-legged companion in her humans’ world.
