Aspen and her four kittens landed in ARF’s care in early April. After fending for her babies in uncertain circumstances, they all adjusted very quickly to full bellies and warm beds in their new foster home. Aspen is a big fan of regular meals! While her babies were younger she was a very careful and attentive momma. Now as they get older she is giving them more space to explore and she rests nearby.
A rather quiet kitty, she can be very independent, content to be by herself as long as she knows where you are in the house. She is slowly learning to play herself, occasionally enjoying brief bursts of energy to run with the kittens. Aspen would be happiest in a quiet settled household with no other pets. While she tolerates the resident male kitty in her foster home, she isn’t a big fan.
She uses the scratching posts regularly and we are working on her weekly pedicures to keep her nails trimmed. She uses the litter box with no issues, and is eating kibble and drinking water well. Aspen has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for parasites. To apply to adopt this beautiful companion, click the ‘Adopt Me’ button below.
