Are you looking for an absolutely gourd-geous
I’ve made the long journey from up north so I’m very new to the whole indoor house-living thing. I’m making great progress in my foster home thanks to my foster parents and their resident pooch. They’ve been taking things very slowly to set me up for success and I’m raking it all in! I’m being exposed to lots of new environments, people and dogs and quickly learning that variety really is the spice of life!
Housetraining is checked off and I’m learning to be comfortable in my crate with the door closed at night and for a few hours during the day. I’ve mastered leash walking like a pro but I’ll admit I can still go a bit “nutty” when I spot those pesky squirrels. I’m a quick study and learning that a yummy treat is far more rewarding than all that squirrel drama. Continued reward based training will be a joy for my new family as I’m super food motivated!
I’m also a very smart gal! My brain needs as much exercise as my gourd-geous girly figure, otherwise I’ll find my own enrichment like digging holes and removing squeakers out of stuffies with surgical precision! Whether it’s playing with the resident dog, working on food puzzles, or racing around the backyard, I need plenty of fun activities and outlets to burn my energy! After a busy doggie day, I love nothing more than to cuddle on the couch and enjoy a good belly rub with my humans! I have an un-be-leaf-ably sweet personality and I adore people! My foster family is home most of the day so I’m hoping that hours away are the exception and not the rule with my new family!
I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, micro-chipped, heartworm tested andready to begin the next season in my furever home. I still have lots to learn, and need an active family who can meet my needs and understand that good things take time!
