Farley is the best of both worlds with an active spirit and a laid-back heart. Whether you’re exploring the trails, going for a car ride or working from your desk, Farley is happiest being by your side!  Farley is always up for and adventure but will happily entertain himself by chewing on his favourite bone or toy while his foster dad is working. When he’s in a playful mood, you’ll find him raiding his toy box of stuffies, inviting his canine foster sister to play or making sure water never escapes from the garden hose!

Farley currently lives with two adults, a resident dog and a canine savvy cat.  He has lived in a variety of settings and would be best suited with a fenced yard in a quiet urban area or large rural property.  Farley can become over excited on walks when encountering unfamiliar dogs but don’t let the barking fool you!  Once he’s able to meet dogs in a calm, off leash setting, he’s quick to relax, make friends, and be the life of the paw-ty.  Farley successfully lives with a cat in his foster home after slow and controlled introductions.  Given time and space to adjust, he has learned to coexist peacefully and respectfully.

Farley is happiest when he gets plenty of exercise, stimulation and attention with his humans.  He likes to keep busy and comes with all the perks of being an adult dog!  He sleeps through the night (and a little longer on weekends), is completely house trained, and has outgrown most of those puppy shenanigans!   Farley can be trusted in the house alone when his foster family is away for short periods of time so no crate needed for this handsome lad!   He is accustomed to having a foster family who works from home so he is hoping to find a furever family where long hours away are the exception and not the rule.
