Introducing Oliver!  This happy and spirited young pup believes life is best lived in the company of others and is guaranteed to be a loyal shadow!   Oliver is a very affectionate boy who loves to be close to his humans and is not the type to snooze the day away!  He feels safest and happiest when his people are nearby so he is looking for an active family where someone is home much of the time.  

Oliver has a zest for life and is always up for an adventure. He walks well on a leash once he settles and would prefer a home with a yard or spacious property where he can spend time outdoors with his humans.  Oliver has made great progress in his foster home following routines and learning appropriate behaviour. He knows the basic commands such as “sit”, “wait”, “leave it” and “down”.  He loves treats, which makes training easy, fun and rewarding!  

Besides human two-legged besties, what else makes Oliver happy?  A social and playful canine buddy of course!  Oliver absolutely lights up around friendly, active dogs who match his energy level.  He loves to wrestle, chase, play tug and is never short on energy but happily cuddles on the couch or lays at your feet when its time to relax. He currently lives with 2 other large dogs and a dog-savvy cat. A patient canine sidekick helps Oliver relax, feel safe, and helps him navigate the world with confidence – not to mention provides a great outlet for all his enthusiasm!  Oliver has learned that a crate is a safe and comfortable place, and sleeps well through the night. He is very calm on car rides and knows to sit or lie still while out for a drive. He loves trips to dog friendly stores too! Oliver adores humans of all ages, and is great with children. 

Oliver will thrive in a home that can offer:

In return, Oliver will reward his family with endless affection, full body tail wags (watch you mug!!), warm snuggles and a whirlwind of love.  Oliver is thriving in foster care and has learned appropriate behaviours.  He is adapting well to expectations and routines around people, other dogs, and the resident cat. With a dedicated forever family, Oliver will continue to grow into his very best confident self and be an amazing companion!
