Goose

About

Hey can I chat with you for a minute? My name’s Goose, and yes I can absolutely be a ‘silly goose’ when you get to know me! I arrived into ARF’s care feeling a wee bit nervous, but my awesome foster home has taught me that life is looking up now and my confidence is too.

I’m fully house-trained and only ask that you arrange to let me outside for a potty break if you plan to be away for a time. I’ve learned to sit by the door to indicate I’d like to go out, and when outside I love to play tug-o-war, fetch, and zoom around. I would love a fenced yard to run around in but I currently live in a 1-bedroom apartment and am doing really well with that. Because of this, my foster parents would consider an adopter living in an apartment or townhouse home if they were dedicated to walking me daily and taking me to run around at parks.  When I’m not out there walking on my comfy harness, or playing with my favourite dino toy, I am happy to settle at your feet and snooze. Cuddles and pets are very much appreciated too!

When I’m introduced to new people, I get along great with them, however I’m still waiting to have an experience meeting several of the smaller humans. My foster mom says my gentle personality would likely shine through! As for meeting new canine friends, I’ve had some great play dates with a dog that’s familiar to me. I figure that a slow introduction to a friendly pooch would be my ideal opportunity to make new buddies. I have not come across one of those kitty critters yet, but that might be something to try in the future.

ARF has set me up to look for my forever family as I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I’m the perfect mix of silly, playful, loyal, and laid back; a certified goofball who can turn just about anything into a game. My adoption fee is $500 and I’m hoping that YOU might want to meet me and check out my loving ways! If that’s a ‘YES’ then click on the ‘Adopt Me’ icon below and let’s make a plan!
